Issue: Recent trends show the most conservative investor now willing to take some risk.
Comment: Recent evidence shows that the conservative investor is willing to take some risk with their monies. This has been influenced by falling deposit rates and greater confidence in the future.
Generally the type of person who normally only places their monies on deposit, is now looking at longer term options, to achieve increased returns whilst at the same time requiring some element of protection. This can be achieved through investing in Soft Capital Protected Bonds.

Question: I am in my 60’s and considering transferring ownership of my house to my son. Are there any pitfalls I need to be aware of?

There are many pitfalls to what you are considering both financial and legal. I would suggest that before you proceed any further that you get advice from your solicitor.
